TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We ask that guests please take two lateral flow tests before travelling to the island, one three days prior to travel and the second on the day of travel. This is to help keep our island community safer.
Covid 19 has changed so much this year.
The Hide is deep cleaned between guests to current Government guidelines.
If you fall ill whilst staying with us and have to remain in The Hide you will be liable for the cost of any extra days that you stay as our next guests would not be able to arrive. We advise you check your travel insurance
We are not taking deposits and your full payment is currently due on your arrival day rather than 4 weeks before to prevent you being out of pocket in the event of short notice cancellation. We do not accept any liability to costs that you may incur if we are forced to cancel your stay. This will alter as Covid 19 improves.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Arrival after 5pm. The Hide will be open for your arrival.
We ask that on your day of departure you vacate The Hide by 9.30 am to enable us to clean for new guests. Please ensure the key is left in The Hide.
We aren't currently taking a booking deposit this will change as Covid 19 improves.
A deposit of £100 is payable to secure your booking. Payment is confirmation that you have agreed to our terms and conditions. Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card or cheque. Contact us for bank details or to make a credit card payment.
The balance is due 4 weeks prior to date of arrival, or in full if within 4weeks of date of booking. Payment not made in full by the due date will forfeit the deposit and the booking will be cancelled.
The Hide is strictly non-smoking and no naked flames (for example candles) are allowed in the building.
We ask that you do not put disposable barbecues on the decking as the heat will cause damage to the timber.
CHILDREN AND PETS
The Hide is for single/couples occupancy only and we do not have the facilities for children or babies.
We cannot take pets as we have our own dogs.
We reserve the right to ask you to vacate the property should you breach these terms and all monies will be retained by the owners.
GOOD HOUSEKEEPING AND DAMAGE
The Hide is cleaned and inspected for damage before you arrive. We ask that you leave the property as clean as you have found it and any damage is reported straightaway during the week. This will enable us to source a replacement.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGES
Changes can be made, providing an alternative date is available, up to 4 weeks before date of arrival. Changes within 4 weeks are not permitted.
Cancellation made after booking has been accepted will forfeit deposit. No refunds will be given after full payment has been made. We advise taking suitable travel insurance to cover any incurred costs due to cancellation.
CANCELLATION BY US
If we are prevented from letting The Hide to you because of circumstances beyond our control eg. fire, storm, loss of utilities or illness we shall refund the booking charge in full and you shall have no further claim against us. If we are unable to make the property available for any other reason we will give as much notice as possible and refund in full.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to the property at our sole discretion if we feel damage is likely to be caused/has been caused during your stay. We are not obliged to refund you or find you alternative accommodation. We also reserve the right of entry at a time agreed with you to carry out any repairs or maintenance.
We do not accept any liabilities or refunds of full loss of your holiday and expenses incurred. Check with your travel insurance.
